Dr. Darlene Hachmeister grew up in the Upstate New York area and completed her undergraduate studies in biology at LeMoyne College in Syracuse, NY. She later attended the University of Florida College of Dentistry, receiving her DMD degree in 1994. After graduating dental school, she was commissioned as a Captain in the  United States Air Force and completed a 1 year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Bolling Air Force Base, Washington, DC. She served as general dentist at Misawa AFB in Japan.

Dr. Hachmeister completed her Endodontic Residency training at Wilford Hall Medical Center, Lackland AFB and University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. She served as Chief of Endodontics, Nellis AFB, Las Vegas. After 9 years of military service, Dr. Hachmeister left the Air Force in 2003 to return to Florida and join Endodontic Associates of Brevard.

Dr. Hachmeister is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontists since 2005. 

She currently holds a position on the American Association of Endodontics Continuing Education Committee and is a Scientific Advisory Board Member for the Journal of Endodontics. She holds membership in the American Association of Endodontics, the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Endodontics, the Florida Association of Endodontics, Southern Endodontic Study Group, American Dental Association,  Florida Dental Association, Central Florida Dental Association and the Brevard County Dental Society. .

Dr. Hachmeister loves spending time with her husband and two sons. She enjoys traveling, running, and reading.

Dr. Hachmeister has recently retired from practicing clinical endodontics. She’s very grateful for the wonderful 25 year career she has had in the dental profession.
